Dr. Zweig

I am so honored to be part of the health care team for your whole family. For as long as I can remember I wanted to be a dentist and give people a reason to smile. I feel so rewarded by the relationships I build with my patients in this beautiful Newbury Park community and I love that I get to see the smiling faces of my patients and friends in the grocery store, on the hiking trails, and all around town.

I have had the privilege of watching many of my patients grow up and bring their own children in for treatment. I enjoy treating those new patients who are nervous about treatment and turning them into a believer of proper oral care. I enjoy working with the fearful patient, making them feel comfortable and in control during their visits. I love the opportunity to educate patients on the "how" and the "why" of what we provide so that they can feel confident making an informed decision regarding their treatment plan.

I am blessed with a team that is genuinely concerned with the well-being of the practice and our patients. We all work together to provide the best experience for our patients, and it amazes me what they come up with!

I’m committed to providing the best and most advanced care for my patients.  Dentistry is an ever-changing field, and I spend time regularly attending education courses that keep me up to date on all the latest advances in the dentistry field.  My passion for education extends to other dental professionals as well.  I have served as a guest lecturer for Sirona Dental Systems, educating other dentists about CAD/CAM technology (CEREC one visit restorations).  I have also been an instructor in radiology at the Regional Occupational Program in Camarillo, as well as a Dental Assistant Program instructor at our local colleges.

I received a degree in Chemistry at UC San Diego, but my lifelong dream of becoming a dentist brought me to the prestigious University of Southern California, where I earned my Doctorate of dental Surgery.  At USC, I was Founder and Executive Director of the Doctor’s Ought to Care program, which helps underserved youth in the Los Angeles area.

I grew up in North Hollywood and moved to Ventura County immediately after graduating, making the beautiful community of Newbury Park my home.  I feel so fortunate to have lived, worked, and raised my family in such a wonderful community.  I have two grown children, Matthew and Leah.  When I am not spending time with my patients, you can find me in the local mountains, hiking and taking photographs of the beautiful surroundings. You can also find me at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, where I spend a portion of my weekends volunteering as a docent!
